Emissions Zero supplies EXPO visitors with high quality carbon offsets
Emissions Zero and SEEE cooperate to offer Expo visitors the chance to make their Expo trip carbon neutral
Emissions Zero is delighted to be working with the Shanghai Environment and Energy Exchange (SEEE) to offer Shanghai World Expo 2010 visitors the opportunity to offset the carbon emission’s from their Expo trip by funding one of Emissions Zero’s fantastic emissions reduction projects.
The Expo as a whole aims to be the world’s first ‘Green Expo’ and at the project site will educate the public about greener urban environments, as well as displaying many cutting edge new technologies at the Expo site. On the Expo VER website (www.2010expover.org), individuals can measure their carbon footprint of their trip to the Expo, and learn more about ways to live a ‘low carbon life’.
Emissions Zero is working with the SEEE to supply high-quality credits from our Shenzhen Xiaping Landfill Gas project, as well as from our Sanchawan hydro project in Guizhou province.. These projects, which could not happen without carbon finance, lead to both reductions in greenhouse gas emissions and bring sustainable development benefits to the local population near their respective project sites. More details on the se projects an be found on the Emissions Zero website.
