Offsetting My Carbon Footprint
Individuals may choose to offset part or all of their carbon footprints. Emissions Zero has divided the average carbon footprint into four areas:
- Flight footprint
- Vehicle footprint
- Home Electricity footprint
- Home Gas footprint
To calculate your carbon footprint, use our calculator and input the requested information. If you create an account with us, your data will be stored so that you can login and view or edit it at any time. An account does not require you to purchase offsets.
To offset your carbon footprint, select the offset option in the calculator and choose a project from which to purchase offsets. You can offset as much or as little of your carbon footprint as you like.
After your purchase, an email will be sent to your address with a certificate indicating the amount of your offsets and the project in which your offsets were invested.
