Thank you for visiting Emissions Zero’s website and for your interest in our services.
By accessing, visiting, subscribing to our services or otherwise utilizing the Emissions Zero website, you agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions below.
Emission Zero will acquire carbon offsets on behalf of the customer promptly after having received payment from the client.
Immediately after having received payment, Emissions Zero will provide the client with an offsetting certificate outlining the quantity of offsets to be purchased on behalf of the client. The certificate will be sent to the email address provided by the client (unless the client does not provide an email address), including the name of the offsetting party and the project to which the offsets are to be invested.
Emissions Zero can give no guarantee that the offsetting will be achieved by emission reductions generated by the selected project as due to unexpected issues the project may fail to generate the expected emission reduction. In this case Emissions Zero warrants to invest the donation in a project as similar as possible to the selected project.
Emissions Zero guarantees that it will retire on the client’s behalf a number of carbon offsets equal to the amount of carbon offsets required by the client at least within one (1) calendar year of the purchase,.
For the avoidance of doubt, the customer will not purchase carbon offsets personally or acquire legal ownership or legal title to the carbon offsets; instead, Emissions Zero will purchase the offsets and irrecoverably retire the carbon offsets on the customer’s behalf.
All offset purchases are final and cannot be returned. In the event a client’s flight will be cancelled or the route will be changed or the client is inhibited for any reason to use the flight for which the client has offset its emissions via Emissions Zero, in no event this will have any effect on the payment and the offsetting. The payment will not be reimbursed to client.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by Chinese law which applies to all legal relationships between you and Emissions Zero resulting from your donation.
